Kitzstein – Gabel
Starting from the middle station of the Grafenbergbahn up to the Hachaualm, the Auhofalm and then steeply to the summit. Surefootedness and a head for heights are necessary. Grandiose panorama at the Peak.
Grießenkar
Starting point is the reservoir for the Rote 8er. Through the forest, further on to the pastures in Flachau and past a little blue lake we aspire to the top of Grießenkareck. Climb down via Kogelalm back to the starting point. Great views of the Hochkönig, Dachstein to Ankogel and Großglockner.
Tappenkarsee
We walk to the largest mountain lake in the Alps. Worth seeing is the extremely varied flora, especially beautiful at the time when the Alpine roses flower.
Roßbrand
Leisurely hike through forests and meadows up to the Roßbrandhütte with fantastic panoramic views.
Taferlnock
From the Gasthofalm to the Lower Pleißlingalm, to the Taferlscharte and up onto Taferlnock. Good condition and adequate visibility required.
Gerzkopf
Gorgeous hike up to the conservation area Schwarze Lacke to the summit cross. A wonderfully soothing hike with great views at the top.
Schuhflicker
After an adventurous ride up to Aualm we hike through lush pastures and climb steeply to the summit. Beautiful view of the Schuhflickersee and fantastic views of the surrounding mountains.
Koreinhöhe
Showcase for Gosaukammbahn and Dachstein. From the Buttermilchalm over the Ostermaisspitz to the Koreinhöhe and back via the Karalm to the starting point. Well-marked trails and walkways.
Dachsteinsüdwandhütte
From the Bachlalm to the Maralm up to the Dachsteinsüdwandhütte and over the stone field and the Neustadtalm to the inn Dachsteinruhe.
Guttenberghaus
Wild water, magnificent mountains. Long circular walk from the inn Fersterer to Silberkarhütte and up to Silberkarsee. Next on the Fersterer saddle for Guttenberghaus. Climb down over the Tiefkar and Lärchenbodenhütte to the starting point. Good fitness and stamina are required.
Franz-Fischer-Hütte
Circular walk from Riedingtal to Haselloch, continue past romantic mountain lakes to Franz-Fischer-Hütte and the Jakoberalm back to Schliereralm.
